Anyone know approximately how many apistos Pacific has left? Looking to scoop some up when I get back to the city in two weeks.

do you know if they had females and males?

The grass isn't always greener in the other tank.

there were about 20+ Apistogramma agassizi at Pacific as of today.

Bamboo shrimp are commonly stocked at Petco @ union sq. Vampires are rare.

I went there at their old location about 5 or 6 years ago. From what i recall they had all types of custom made tanks and will make tanks to your specs. As far as livestock they had everything from common to rare and everything looked healthy, but the prices were astronomical. I never went back again because i would never pay the prices they had on their fish. Could be different now. If i am in the area i will stop by their new shop and let you know, but from what I saw in the past I would not go out of my way to go there unless your pockets are deep.

@ RWaters, yes, a majority are males but i was able to casually ID 4 females since these guys are now older and have developed.

Mostly males, but there were a few females, although it's really hard to tell since they're so young. I thought I had a male & 2 females, but after a few weeks one of the fish I thought was female turned out to be a male. If any one wants the extra male it's $5, or if there aren't any takers I'll donate it to BAS for the October auction.

Has anyone ever come across any interesting Pelvicachromis species (besides kribensis) at any LFS?

I'm setting up a nano, and I'm looking around for some small manzanita and any ADA stones, especially seiryu stones. Im in downtown manhattan, but I'm very willing to travel in search of good prices!
