I use Clout and I don't find it to be as harsh as others say. My snails and shrimp are doing fine after I put them back in. (After a water change and a couple days with carbon of course)

The blackworms I buy from Aqualand are always hitch-hiker free. The anacharis however... I've found leechs on them when preparing for tank insertion. Always thoroughly check, trim, and prune new plants!

Anyone see any Amano's yet? I know acitydweller saw them at aquastar. I'm off today and contemplating if I should go to the city or not. Has anyone been in 14st petco this week?

It's been a while since it's been mentioned, but does anyone know if Pacific has dwarf puffers anymore? Figured I'd pick some up since they got 30 of them, but I just called and the guy on the phone says they don't have any. Then again, for the past 2 months or so, I've been calling and whoever answers the phone doesn't really know anything about puffers.

Really? I went about 1 or 2 days ago and they had maybe 20. 3 were on hold though.

They're SOOOO cute and tiny! I really want 1.

There was one left at Aquastar last week. 14th street Petco didn't have any as of last week. Pacific always seems to have them but I doubt their prices are any good. 123 in Chinatown always has some as well.

If I get a chance next week. I'm just going to hit all the Chinatown stores. Thanks for the update.

Win:
Lots of Cardinals
Lots of Black neons
Lots of Harlequins
Lots of Ottos
Paradise fish
Had something called "Blue neon Angelfish" or something along those lines, really small but they looked pretty neat

123:
Nothing caught my eye except some decent sized and healthy looking roselines, $20 a pop though....

Pacific:
Still have the samurai gouramis
Sterbai 3/$12
Pygmy corys tank seems to be thinning out even though they're $6 a pop
Nothing caught my eye here either except $20 Bolivians...wtf

Anyone see any apistos around?

Well, I've been looking at the Chinatown lfs and here's my report:
Pacific:
Interesting Tetradon Miuras Puffers, REALLY unique $70 no special. I would SO get these if I had a spare tank (Oh the sorrows of a poor man...)
Pygmy Cories $7 per (special applies)
Borneo Suckers, there's alot of them. I forget the price

Win:
Small discus tank has ich
Lots of guppies

Aquastar
Nothing special
Adult sized amanos $2.50 ea

Last edited by Cokers; 10-29-2012 at 12:09 AM. Reason: Aquastar, not Aqualand my bad :P
