Nah. My local Petland Discounts in Queens. Though they should be able to order them for you if you ask.

theres seems to be plenty of NYC locals on the forum... but I never see any local clubs, events or swap threads for NYC planted tank people

are we in hiding? is there a NYC planted tank/aquascape club?

I was talking with a few people from this forum about that and I think the problem is with people's schedule and no ideal Location which makes it will be hard to form... I noticed through my adventures in planted tanks that there are a lot of us here in NYC but NYC has always been a predominately salt city... But I would be interested if a club is formed and isnt like very far.... I believe and dont quote me but the Brooklyn one is held in Brooklyn aquarium... And that's far for me

ya i know how we new yorkers can be lol but take this thread for instance... most of us already participate and help each other out with the latest LFS update almost daily!

i bet you we've probabbly even bumped into each other at the LFS and didn't even know it lol. i know what would get new yorkers to get together for a swap or meeting... it has to involve beer and food yo!

lets meet at Hooters!

I feel like a new planted club starts and fails every year. There's two clubs that's been around awhile - the Brooklyn Aquarium Society, and the Greater City Aquarium Club (I think?), but I haven't heard much good about either, especially plant-wise.

I'm leaving until tues and will have no Internet. :/ I may collect a bunch of animals though! It's upstae NY, any ideas on what to look out for? (insects, fish, plants, spiders, basically small caged animals) lots of mammals, but those get too big, such as turkeys lol. I tried to catch me with a coat once=fail! I didn't know they could fly! I'm such a city kid! Lmao
