At the store on Elizabeth, I think (the little underground one) that's where it is, I got a 1 1/2 in crayfish for $2. I had to rescue it, it was in half a Poland spring bottle with maybe a 1/2 inch of water, no substrate... I took it home, set it up in a jar with a hide, sand, and a bit of established gravel to cycle it. I'm feeding it tropical fish pellets (tetramin tropical granules that sinks and Wardley betta food that floats) and blanched spinach. Its kind of cool watching it eat the floating pellets since it stands up and tries to push it on top of its hide (which has a ramp to it) so it can grab it from the surface. Also, the shrimp stole the same food from my male betta! He is such a wuss, the shrimp just swam up to the surface and snatched it. Then it had to let go since it floated. Wow I'm off topic...well win tropical has a very limited plant selection lately. His bettas seem a bit sickly and they're in TINY glass milk bottles. But his other fish look great. Oh, and he has new angelfish babies! Seems his breeding pair made some babies.

Edit: there is another crayfish on the counter, but it is in slightly better quarters. A small kritter keeper with water. Someone save him/her and help me identify what species they are! She just said crayfish. Excuse any weird words, my iPhone auto corrects way to much.

You must be talking about 123 Aquarium. What type/color was the crayfish that you bought?

It's light brown speckled, kinda clear. I'm going to put up some pics in a second. Just have to figure it out on iOS.

Stopped by Pacific today. Picked up 3 apisto agassizi, 3 yunnanilus cruciatus (dwarf hovering loach, aka multi banded loach) and 3 melini corydoras. All were 3.99 or 3 for $10

Ugh I give up! I'm gonna dig out my laptop and you shall see the little---cutie?? Lol not exactly cute, but not ugly. Prolly be about half hour since I have to practice violin now. I wasted money on icabmobile which DOES NOT work for uploading pics. It seems like it should, it even taunts you by giving you the option to pick a file, but then it says you never selected it. blargh! Annoying!

How do you make the pics just how, without a link?
Edit: lol nvm. apparently the only one that did was this one. So, crayfish experts, what species do you think this is? I'm hoping it is a marbled crayfish so i can get a ton of cute babies!

sure looks like a marbled cray, give it about 6 months for it to grow enough to lay eggs
PS. if you invested $2.50 more, you could've gotten a marbled cray for sure instead of this maybe

Empty, didn't see any dwarf neons. Saw a couple of different types of corys. They get their fish shipment on Sunday night so maybe you'll luck out if you go Monday.

I can't really tell. Though if you want marbled crays, I can give you a few babies.
