Hi guys,

I really like this thread! lets keep posting updates on the LFS and their stock. I work in Noho so, I always check Win tropical and Pacific World. I will try to keep it update for you guys.

Or do you guys think that is better to start a new thread like "New York City LFS update"? ......

Let me know....

I've always thought a "LFS update" thread was a great idea, we should get started on a new one with a proper thread title.

BTW, does anyone happen to know if Royal Aqua's (8th and 65th in Brooklyn) second floor is part of the store, or just some sort of storage area?

good question.. I was there the other day, and I saw people come down from it, but they were with one of the owners.

BTW.. I forgot to mention that Win Trop has Cherries again. I actually picked some up on wednesday.. Picked up 2 berried and one male to hopefuly jumpstart coloney in a new 10 Gal tank that I have at work.

Back to the OP's question.. I saw some balloon rams in Royal also. Didn't note the prices, but I thought they looked kinda funny.

I also stopped by King's Aquarium on 18th Ave and 70th Street. THey opened up about 6 - 9 monthes ago. They have 1/2 the store for Salt and 1/2 for fresh. They do not seem to have too big of a selection of either, but their stock looked sorta healthy. I also stopped by the one on 7th Ave and 59th street yesterday, and mostly they stock only different types of Flower Horns, and some sorta silver carp looking fishes that were going for a couple of hundred each also.

I agree that a "NYC LFS Update" thread would be great. Someone get on top of that already!

There are a number of fish, inverts, and plants that people always seem to be looking for. Plus, we can keep updated on sales.
