I'm not sure where is this store located.

It seems lemon tetras are not commonly seen in the store than other tetras. I guess I would have to go check it out more often.

I lost a rummynose last night. too bad - I like these fish a lot and the more there are of them the better they look.

that said, I originally ordered them from wet spot tropical fish (not a great name, but the service was good).

I used to have 4-5 of them, but I got only one left with my cardinals. They swim together and my red rummy nose always has a bright red head/nose. I know he/she is doing good.

I wanted to buy more since I have upgraded my tank from a 20G to a 75G. So they are very happy in a much bigger tank. Hopefully they will still grow after spent over a year in a 20G tank.

Petland Discounts carry's lemon tetras usually. If you normally quarantine all your livestock you do not have to worry about them being sick if done correctly.

I haven't seen lemon tetra in Petland discount. I can always swing by after work.

I quarantine them with super ich med for a few days.

Call the petland before going to it so you don't waste time. Make sure you speak with a manager and they can order it for you in case they do not have it. They are normally on their order list.

You guys are not going to believe this. Petland got some very healthy looking lemon tetras and I bought all of them (total 11). The guy even gave me discount on them. It's amazing. Now I back on red rummy nose hunt. Fish town got some, but they look terrible.

Monster Aquarium for sure! Probably best price locally and he is in flushing. If you buy a bunch there might be a small discount. They are less than 4$ each too for sure!
