Brooklyn over here. I dont go to any lfs in bklyn tho. I mainly go to the onces in the city ie new world, wins tropical, pacific and the other guys. I use to go to the queens shops for saltwater but its too much of a commute on the train to go out to queens. I'm still trying to put together my first planted tank. Glad to be here!

The grass isn't always greener in the other tank.

Wicket, You've got to hit Tropical Showcase in Hicksville on Old Country Road. Best plants on the island in my opinion.

I'm still working on my mineralized topsoil substrate. Who would have thunk that it would be so hard to get some topsoil in this big city. I guess there is an advantage to having a car...or a backyard.

The grass isn't always greener in the other tank.

Haha, yup i've been there, my grandparents live near it. I use to stop by all the time. There aren't many places on LI that I havent visited or at least heard of. My favorite is in Centereach, they don't have much plants though. I love going to aquarium adventures, but never buy anything cause its so friggin expensive. Driftwood and tanks there are decent prices due to sales.

I am in prospect heights and am breeding endlers and halfbeaks. My endlers population are out of control so am planning to get some glassfishes to reduce their numbers. I plan to breed clown killies and dario dario next summer.

Please let me know when you'll be culling your endlers. I'd love to buy some off of you.
