Long Island LFS Tour: 6 Nov [Photos added]

Update: Photos added...The Aquatic Plant society on Facebook are planning a trip to visit some of our local shops on Long Island.
This day of 'aquaria' will hopefully be blessed with clear skies, fish, plants, laughs and a wrap up with an aquatic auction at the GCAS meeting.

I spoke to Kevin when he was making his rounds at the LFS and he mentioned something about "how to setup a nano tank" as being the topic but i havent seen it posted on their website.

Yes, November 6th. The itinerary is being shared so people can join us at any shop along the way. Those who cant make the day are welcome to take this list and visit these great places at their own pace.

It was a great day with 13 LFS visited! Everyone came home with new fish friends!

Mine are currently acclimating. Still work to do before going to bed. Hope everyone gets home safely!

Hi Jake,
I picked up amano shrimp, amandae tetras, scissor tail rasboras, cherry shrimp, zebra otos, oil catfish, several pieces of driftwood, two types of stem plants, pygmy cories, windelov fern to name off the top of my head. there were quite a few types of plecos, dwarf cichlids, tetras which really were eye catching. The diamond neon tetras were something worth considering and at $.99... unheard of at that price. The purple rasboras were also very pretty.

me too. yeah this trip was actually more fun than the last one you and I were at together. Have to check this place out when you have space in your tanks.
