GCAS Meeting / Auction Wednesday July 3rd, 7:30 PM

The next Greater City Aquarium society meeting/auction will be next Wednesday July 3rd at 7:30 PM. The guest speaker will be Joseph Ferdenzi and he will be speaking on do it yourself aquarium gadgets. Hope to see some of you there.

The Greater City Aquarium Society meets on the first Wednesday of every month (except January and February)
at the Queens Botanical Garden, in Flushing, Queens, NY.
Meetings begin at 7:30 pm.

Each meeting features a guest speaker, an eclectic auction featuring lots of locally bred fish and plants,
a raffle, a doorprize, refreshments, and great fish friends.

Membership in the GCAS is $20,
and includes a subscription to Greater City's award-winning magazine, Modern Aquarium.

All GCAS meetings are free and open to the public.

I have learned things at every meeting. This club is just a treasure of great experience, info and happy hobbyists.

The auctions have also appeared to have grown in size since last Nov when i joined GCAS which makes it that much more fun!

I'm going.

Btw, how's it work if we wanted to bring/donate plants to the event? I have excess of a few things that I wouldn't mind bringing.

Just bring your plants prebagged to the meeting. They will have tags on the auction table that you fill out with a description of the plant and you check off if you want to split it 50/50 with the club or if you want to donate 100% of the proceeds to the club. If you split 50/50 you will receive your money at the next months meeting from the treasurer.
