It's at New York aquarium at Coney Island. They have fish and plants at the auction. They also have supplies and equipment too, but I think that's separate from the auction.

Is it expensive? Also are there fishes like galaxy rasbora and tetras? Or java moss? Sorry I'm a complete newbie. Apologies for any newbie questions.

Haha I'm not sure. I've only been once. Nothing that interested me too much so I left even before the auction started. I'm pretty sure they'll have java moss. They even had duckweed... There were some decent prices on equipment the last time I was there.

It's an auction, prices depend on how many people are bidding for the same fish or plant. And what type of fish depends on what people bring, what they bred. It really depends on who brings what whether it's interesting or not. I've been to some really great auctions and some not so much. I'm bringing some of my super red BN Plec's and maybe some guppy/endler hybrids.
HybridH, they do not meet in the summer June is the last meeting and there is always an auction after the speaker. This is just a 50/50 auction and maybe some venders will he there.
Flo if you want a lift home I can do that, have to go to my mothers before auction.
