I was thinking about using it under my MGOCPM the next time I dirt a tank as a slow release source of calcium and magnesium. Also to help neutralize the acidity of the soil.

Cuttlebone is mostly CaCO3 though. What I want is CaMg(CO3)2 for both the calcium and magnesium.

Nah. Dolomite lime can contain some stuff other than calcium and magnesium which can range from metals to oxides. Plus it's in a powdered form making it water soluble. I'm looking for the gravel-sized stuff.
