Stumbled across this gem today.

While going to pick up a new pack of filter carbon today, I stumbled across this guy. Couldn't resist but to buy him instantly. He looked 100x more premium than every other betta at this store.

And you'll never guess what store I found this guy in.....ready?.....PETLAND DISCOUNTS!

Diamonds are always in the rough!
Usually find a nice one out of every hundred or so.
Lovely white!

I think the Petland on Nassau Street used to get bettas from a local breeder. Some of them were very nice. I think the same breeder supplied Win also.

The petland I was at was one of the westside locations. But the best looking bettas I've seen are at the petland on W23rd street. They get some really good looking dragon scales on some days.
