*cries*

The red root floaters I ordered arrived today I was soooo excited but I just now opened the package with camera ready and it was full of giant duckweed, and grayish, melted floaters that were attached to long red roots.

I wrote to the seller and asked for a Before picture, and told him I had taken pictures upon opening and would send them as soon as possible.

Is it fair to ask for a refund?

RRF will shrivel due to lack of light but 2-3 days shouldn't impact it the way you desscribed. Sounds like possible heat damage.... Did the seller warn of duckweed? To me, it would be like buying a car and finding sour milk in the seats and carpet... like a negative "extra"... Send the picture and see how the seller wishes to resolve it. I always give people the opportunity to do right as a courtesy and fall back to asking for a refund in failing. Make sense?

There was no mention of duckweed in his ad.

I feel naive for not asking for a picture.

Newspaper around the plastic bag and in a priority box.

When I sent mine, I sent them wrapped in Moist paper towels with no extra water. That is how I received dwarf water lettuce and the first batch if red root floaters that we're gorgeous, but I left them in the mailbox too long bc I was with a Reiki student, and those gorgeous gorgeous plans all died.

Oh, the pathos of my regret!
