Regarding the mesh dividers, the only ones I found At home depot were these plastic grids in the dropped ceiling section used to cover lights. Should I be looking for something different as these appeared to be about a 3/4" thick and I suspect a slim betta might be able to slip though and duke it out with his neighbor.

I'll have to checkout lowes.

Last ques, what are those red bead thingys in the plant basket? Do they have any nutritional purpose or are they simply used to stabilize aquatic plants?

Feeling ambitious and curious this morning. Have a great day all.

It's an expanded clay aggregate, no nutritional value, very porous, mostly to stabilize and provide a non-wet but humid environment at the roots (ex. for orchids). I also use it in my filters as biofiltration. A popular brand is called Hydroton, another brand is Aliflor, and there are others.

Yesterday I taught my 1st and 2 nd grade keyboard class "Soft Kitty, Warm Kitty."

I avoid Grimm and Once Upon a Time bc I don't want to get addicted!

I am a sucker for The Glee Project, The Voice, Project Runway and, oh the shame, America's Next Top Model.

Warehouse 13 and Eureka I love. Has anyone watched Being Human(american version)?
That has gotten to be a great show. Next season is in the making.
And Lost Girl was a little campy but I like it very much too.

Loved Eureka...In the last episode of Eureka, a lot of the cast from previous seasons came back like chloe... it was pretty cool.

I had doubts about 666PP but watched it with delight. Loads of undertones and tid bits of things going on at every corner. ive been breaking the bad to watch it all once and straight through... maybe its time...

LOL -> @_@ *zombie*

I must confess that i enjoy New Girl. not really a fan of Zooey Deschanel, but more the guys that she lives with. They are a riot. I sort of like the shows that make me laugh out loud or cringe on the bus. Im surprised there arent more Tosh.o fans here...

Really liked Being human (UK) and the original office (UK)... he made a follow up called "extras" which was fun.

Jim Parsons really makes the show for me. I just realized we're the same age haa!
