I got good news and bad news *well just on my end* I raised those juvies to adults and they came out REALLY nice one got berried but dropped eggs because she was still new at it. But I had a pH swing, my Amazonia lost most of its buffering power. So they got stressed out and started dropping like flies. I even tried to use Manhattan water which is perfect but it was too late. I have 6 left and I moved em to a different tank with just Manhattan water. Hopefully they'll survive. I hate how my water is 7.6 I deliberately got Amazonia just to buffer it to 6.5. I wasnt aware that my water would drain the buffering of Amazonia that fast.
How hardy are TT's?
Hope a free marimo ball will make you feel better haha come over when you can. I *may* go down to chinatown this weekend too if you want to meet down there.
A longer term solution for your water might be what you need.
So I have an empty 20 Gallon long that's left after the package was sold. $15 anyone wants it?
It needs a wipe but otherwise in a decent condition. I remember a small chip at the corner but it's only cosmetic, absolutely no leak. I faces that chip towards the wall anyway so it doesn't bother me.
This must be the longest exit from a hobby ever recorded... LOL
i have some of his TTs (tangerine tigers) and they are excellent... just a shame they are all guys and my tank is a sausage factory. im literally afraid to put any females into that tank for risk of their lives :0
