I saw that ad last night lol. If I had an extra 30k laying around I would do it. Rent is super cheap.

1000 sq feet is really small. Plus rent is 2800 a month for rent is kinda alot for a shop that small. No wonder why he is selling it, small profit!

well 30k isnt that much of a risk. Kids also like to touch glass and leave prints all over your tanks lol.

i do think its a good oportunity also, but you should really look into how the business did for the past few years, and why it did or did not make a profit. From there try to see if any issues could be addressed. who knows you may just get lucky and walk into a thriving business some one just desperatly wants to get out of or retire.

Mm, good point! Anyway, if anyone wants to do a co-op with hundreds of people, let me know.

get like 2 people and split the buisness and the asking cost. Maybe all that pet store needed was to do setups for buisness on the side and get the word spread out about their business.

Gosh, I remember this store was pretty good a few years ago, but it went downhill pretty bad.

Ok, count me in for $100. What does that make me, a 3% owner? After paying for supplies and upkeep I'll get .5% of a penny, for every dollar we make!

I actualy live a few blocks from this lfs. He has the beat price for frozen brine shrimp in the area. I don't usually see customers though. His only planted tankis in the back corner of the shop. The kids from that library doesn't go to the store lol
