Buford, I don't know if there's a set rate. I had read an article and seen pics (I wish I'd saved the site addy.) and decided to add a few oak leaves to mine. I have my nano planted with various mosses, subwassertang and bacopa and just added the leaves in way I thought was pleasing to the eye.
