The moss was originaly in my 10g tank attached to a peice of wood about 8" long and 5" wide. I just took out the whole thing and placed it on top of the highest standing drift wood in my 125g at the time. It sat really nice and snug so I left it there and now it has spread out.
It has also taken hold of the back tank wall. I need to trim some off the top and some from where it grows to the front of the tank. I'm not trimming the ends that grow from side to side. I actually had to tuck the left side a bit down cause it had reached the other peice of wood on the other side of the heater.
The shrimps do a nice job of making it look nice and fluffy. From left to right the moss has grown about 21" long, and right now its about 9 1/2" high and 11" deep. I once counted 38 large rcs just chilling in the moss doing thier thing, the shrimps looked like...... cherries in a tree
Funny thing is I never see any of the amanos go in the moss. I only see the rcs and crs in there. All the small plants seem from the side view in are runners. I need to do a major aquascape but I don't really want to stir up the substrate, cause it send out a bunch of muck if messed with.
