Default Amanos... dead or molting?

When a shrimp molts... does the skeleton look like a busted in half empty shell... still with legs, feelers, etc? We just got 8 new amanos last night and this morning I noticed 2 of these things on the substrate.

I already had 4 shrimp in the tank but have never found a skeleton like this... I'm sure they've molted at least once by now as we've had the first 4 for a few weeks or a month. Was just wondering if I lost a few of the new ones overnight or if they molted? I understand if they were dead there would still be some pinkish looking meat or so left in them, but could the other shrimp or fish picked at the meat and just left the skeleton if they did indeed die? I have 2 a. cacatuoides and 8 neon tetras in there with them and have never noticed much aggression before towards the shrimp from the fish.
