Stl

Any good freshwater fish/plant stores in the St. Louis area? I'm going to be planning a trip over there here shortly and I don't know the area that great. I'm about an hour and half away. If anyone knows of some good places in or around StL I'd love to get their address or name so I could look em up. Thanks.

I like Aqua World in St Louis. They have two locations - one waaayyy out in West County and one in the city area on Gravois Road. The one on Gravois has the best selection of plants. Lots of standard stuff and also some harder to find plants. This location is closed on Sundays.

There is also Tropical World Pets out on Watson Road. I was out there maybe two weeks ago and they had some swords, crypts, etc. but I can't remember seeing anything out of the ordinary. I think their selection is really good after they have received a new shipment. They do have some excellent driftwood and rocks.

Both have quality plants - I've never had a problem with plants I bought from either store. If you are looking for something specific, I would look them up on the web and call. Both stores have helpful employees.

Thanks for the info. Like I said, I'm going to plan a trip there here in a couple weeks. I'll google them up so I can plan a rout to get to them.
