I'm pretty low tech and don't keep tabs on things like I ought, but when I moved to Fremont a year and a half ago, my tap water pH was 7.4 and now it's 8.0. No idea how localized the issue is but I would have gotten different fish had it been this high earlier...
Anyway, has anyone else noticed fluctuating pH? Long shot but doesn't hurt to ask...
