my blue lobster likes to dig a lot in the gravel of my 75 gallon. i have an artificial cave with a flat bottom and the third day i got him i could not find him. then i noticed a big space under the cave and saw it pulling the pebbles out from under the cave! then he moved to a clay pot that he dug the gravel out from under. then to another pot and did the same. he now has every hiding place you can think of, two pots, a cave, and a fake log! the only time it has disturbed my plants is when it was digging under a pot, it reached the roots but it did not eat them. one time he tried to eat my chocolate pleco that is about 9" long!!! he could not get the pleco because of its tuff skin.
