I have used Rid-Ich+ in the past. I dosed according to the directions but also did a healthy waterchange every day. It is crucial to keep the tank as clean as possible with this medication, as it breaks down quickly in the presence of dissolved organics. I would however keep treating for a week after visible signs are gone. Three days is right on the edge of the life cycle, so I would treat for longer than that. You might also try dosing at close to lights out, as strong light also breaks the medication down. I know this is repeated information from another thread, but I just wanted to throw it out there again.
If you have already started with the Rid-Ich, I would stay with it. I'm not a big fan of changing treatments once they have started, unless it proves to not work.
