Heheh.. Frank is my hero.All of the fish in the 10 except the habrosus, are from Frank.Yes, they are schooling..it's pretty sweet.
I really like both of the cory types, they are different. The pygmaeus are adorable, and have an irridescent orange stripe. They comb some of the higher plants for food. I love the hara jerdoni, and yes they are elusive. I might be different than some in that I enjoy a few fish that hide. It makes it fun when you do see them. I have a few caves made by artists, for them hidden here and there. Sometimes I can find them in the daytime, just perched on a leaf.
I am also an incurable insomniac, I have my trusty mini led flashlight to go spying on them and feed them in the wee hours of the morning..
I think I have a pair. I also think the habrosus are one female with three males. She did look chubby for awhile, but I have not seen baby fish. Eggs might be too tempting for loaches let us remember..
The thing I like about all of my fish, with the exception of an occasional frantic dash by a kuhli loach{they get freaky like that once in awhile} all of my fish seem comfortable. I think the upgrade to the 20 will make them even more so. I may hold off on any more fish for awhile. At least a few months until the new tank is established and go from there. Sometimes that last fish or two you feel you just have to have, are the ones that tip the scales of aggression and mess up the balance.
I got some yellow Kubatai rasboras which I felt were not good nano candidates to spite their size. They were very pretty too. But I decided to give them to a friend with a much bigger tank. Their swimming habits were more like danios, lots of back and forth darting. That tells me a fish just needs more room. Or different tankmates.
