What's your best buy in this hobby?

I wasn't exactly sure how to title this but I did. I was wondering what did you buy that you know you got a great deal on. You can post one deal or multiple ones.

As of right now I can think of one of my recent purchases which was at one of the past local auctions where I got 10(which was really 11) Peacock Gudgeons for $25. To me that was a great deal.

So what is yours?

Oh I just realized I made it to 2,000!

110g Tropical Community & Sakura Shrimp
55g BN Breeding Grounds, Peacock Gudgeons, Panda, Pygmies, & Smudge Spot Cories, Rili Shrimp
10g RCS and show guppies

My Girlfriend, Picked her up at an LFS and she's hung around ever since. Best thing is She did not cost me a darned thing.

No seriously, I just bought 2 aquariums last summer each cost me around $150 a piece with all the trimmings including stands, lights, filters.

Craigslist, the only way to buy.

the best deal, on something I've actually bought, was my marineland 56 gallon column tank setup, which came with the tank, the stand, canopy, and the normal t8 lighting. Which was on sale on black friday for 209 bucks. normally it's 299.99
