I look forward to your visit. the store is very much a work in progress but I can't finish the work without more business. So, bring it on ! I'm very fortunate to have a plant distributor right in the county which for my area is a real blessing. He has done a wonderful job getting me the things i need and has the ability to get me and my customers just about anything plant related and is in the process of re-doing his fish room. Once completed I should have access to rare plecos and hard to get africans cichlids and more advanced community fish. I do have a few wholesale accounts set up with vendors that carry specialized plant keeping equipment. I am very happy to report that I sell more real plants than plastic !

Yeah, Meijers seems to have a more decent plant section than most LFS I visit around here. Isn't that odd?

Yeah, its definitely odd since to me fish/plants aren't a big focus to meijers IMO. From what I've seen there's only one LFS that is better.

That's great to hear. I wasn't looking for plants yesterday but when I do I'll definitely buy from there to try it out.

I second that! at my Meijer they had a crypt that looked so big and healthy I almost bought it, but I passed just because it would of been from Meijer

I bought one recently that was GIGANTIC. if you had bought about 7, or 8 potted crypts by themselves, that's how big it was.

It took the person who worked there a hard time just to get it out because it had such crazy root growth!

That's awesome! How much are the potted and loose plants? I never seen a sign saying how much they were.
