That's good to hear, one of the club members I talked to at the PVAS meeting said there wouldn't be plants...

is it me or people in new england are reallly indo cichlids? I was at the CT auction this march? i think, it was pretty much all cichlids!

we have a club meeting next saturday i will find out more. I know the previous auction that Amanda from CAPE brought some plants from her greenhouse. She got some cool plants. you can check on APC forum http://www.aquaticplantcentral.com/

I got a bacopa pack from Amanda at the TFSRI auction and it was some nice plants... she had a few different packs that were all themed, pretty cool. Maybe there won't be much competition for them if she brings some since everyone else will want the cichlids ;-)

So I'm debating... who thinks I should bring some java fern, java moss, wisteria, and/or floaters tomorrow?

No joke I got a bag of ur java moss from olive when you guys did the plant swap, I threw it in a big pickle jar and put it in a window and haven't touched it since. I looked at it yesterday and there are a few shrimp swimming around. Go figure I can't keep shrimp if I try but they prosper for me on accident

LoL they are just natural colored Neos, nothing special. But yea java moss is amazing: it can live in a bucket with no light for months, is a great home for fry and shrimp, and produces shrimp when left in a jar by itself ;-)
