any one in my area breeding BN plecos?

any one here breed BN plecos in the NE mass SE nh area? im in lawrence ma. been looking around and it seems all the lfs in my area are only carrying the albinos. i hate the look of those lol.

I am pretty sure there is a couple of Pleco breeders at the boston aquarium society, but i have no idea what type they breed.

You can go to our meetings and ask around =D!

they often have bushynose pleco out in western mass at Dave's in Hadley or Northampton

Petsmart has them now as well as petco for around 7$

petco doesnt stock them around my area, and petsmart is the only one that "has" them but they havent stocked anything other than albino....

Depends how far you're willing to drive - BAS meeting or New Hampshire Aquarium society meeting would be one option. Unique Aquaria usually has brown in stock, and I suspect that Uncle Ned's Fish Factory does as well.

Try Pet City in Seabrook NH. They get them from a local breeder and thet usually have them.

I have 2 non-albino BN's purchased from Unique Aquaria a couple months ago (their last 2 at the time) - they're gonna cost you though, if you're still looking...
