Smile Free: 2 Bolivian Rams (+trimmings)

Hey All,

Located in Leominster MA

My ram's have some fry down and the parents have claimed 80% of my 30G tank; seen here - Link to the Tank

I'd like to offer up the two non-breeding rams
1 Female: very strong and aggressive with good coloration
1 Male: Passive, with longer fancy fins and good coloration. He's a lover, not a fighter. Has a little scarring on his right eye.

I can also offer some small trimmings from the tank + frog-bit and red-root floater from the refugium.

If you'd like to trade some Java moss - that would be great.

Thanks,
Rob

I just started up not so long ago so I don't have much to trade, but would love the trimmings. :-)

I'd love to take the floaters. Do you ever come to Boston?

I'm sorry, the offer is mostly for the Rams.

I would like to trade clippings / floaters for Java / other moss though. And I am often in Boston/Brighton.

Thank you for the interest,
Rob

Well, I can probably take you at your word. When I thin out my sump (week or so) we will set up a time and I'll bring some to Boston.

I've been eyeing Bolivian Rams as a potential member of my tank when I finally start to stock (still cycling). I was just visiting your tank journal (very nice tank), what is your temp and KH?

Rams are great fun to watch with huge personalities. My temp is 78. PH is 7.3. Haven't checked KH, but I assume it's around 3-5. Since the tank has been healthy I haven't been very parameter crazy. The reef tank on the other hand X_X.

Cryptic, that is very cool to hear. I always hoped they would but they were nothing but nasty to one another in my tank.

Additionally, the rams have been moved (to cryptic's tank) and this post is now closed. Thank you very much for the interest Nanous.
