I just posted on Craigslist yesterday looking for the same thing. If you come across any extra 5lb tanks (not sure what size you are going for), let me know please!

If you guys are looking for a used one on CL make sure the date is still good because they only last 5 years before you have to take it back in for the test which is gonna cost you about $35-$40 so may as well buy a new one for $57 which will last you for 5 full years

Thanks for the headsup NYREPS.

I spoke with someone at Roberts Oxygen (they have lots of locations around the baltimore area) and they swap tanks for $21+tax a pop. Seems like its worth it since a refill in the area goes for about $15 if you have your own tank.

There's also a place in Rockville called HK Fire Protection. $15 for the re-up and ~$9 to refill a 5lb tank.

I got a 5lb tank with regulator and needle valve (and a busted solenoid) for $75 a few weeks ago on CL. Wasn't listed, just emailed a listing to see if he had any, and he did!

That Amazon price isn't half bad, actually...

Here it is.

Single outlet

6 outlets

And good looking decal too

So I would get a new one if I was you guys ,, only $57 ....you don't want those old nasty dirty cylinder tanks ....if you gonna do it do it right.

You will love your system more and feel a lot safer and better looking ,and resell value will also be better

I'd normally say local is the best bet for 5lbs, but that Amazon price is pretty good.

One other thing to keep in mind, if you're up for something a bit larger - beverage elements has a repainted, fresh hydrotest steel 20lb for $90 shipped, and finding a better deal than that will take some doing.

I had seen those but I was hoping to grab a used 10LB or 15LB for around the same price. The $57 also up to $68 for the option with prime shipping. I will probably just pick that up.

5 lb is really all you need ,I had mine filled 4 months ago and it's still full

I had a 20lb they are just too big you will never need that much co2

5lb will last you forever even with multi tanks
