I mean, okay, it's only 80 cents, but I hate wasting stuff, so I just drank a ton of Dr. Pepper.

I followed somebody's directions to try to get the bottle sterile, and I poured some almost-boiling water in there.

Now I have a crumpled 2 liter.

Thankfully I have a bunch of 1 liter water bottles around and a t-connector, but man, that's annoying.

So I guess the moral of this story: the new thinner plastic 2 liter soda bottles can't take boiling water. Don't boil yours.

Should I put a bit of weak bleach solution in and then AmQuel it to death? Does it really matter?
