Yeah, the rot is in the 75. The 30's been broken down so this is all I have. I've also read that it had to do with light reaching the bases. Hope that doesn't mean I need to go HQI. I added another fixture for a few days (130 watts) and was in a very short time seeing lots of algae start.
For now, I'll just hack the rot and re-plant. And, yes, I am considering the central mountain range. I'll keep you posted.
