Hopefully the February one will be better than the last one. They were a little light on vendors at this last swap. Did the shrimp guy ever make it to the swap?

I'll be there. Should be able to bring quite a bit of Fissidens fontanus, if anybody's interested.

This one was too soon after the last one. I was talking to a few club members about it. Many of the Hobbyist that take tables did very well last time as did some of the small business and they either were out of things to sell or felt their potential customers had already what they needed from last time.

How local is the shrimp guy? Does anyone have his contact info? I'd like to get some shrimp soon and his prices were unbeatable from what I can remember.

How old is your son? My 5yo loves the swaps but be warned they get extremely crowded and the aisles are usually packed. If you bring your little guy plan on getting in line early so you can hit the main room before it gets jammed.

My son already has a wish list for the next swap... guppies, blackworms, fish food, plants, 300 gallon tank, and a penguin. Guess which ones he's not getting!

Well if it's a real penguin and not a filter, that would be my guess otherwise its the 300gal tank

Thanks for the heads up about the crowd. My son is 2,still young but i can try right?, and has a puppy obsession i'm trying to break a little. He helps me feed them and thinks its hilarious when the fish come by him when he gets close(there like dogs, always hungry).

There was a shrimp breeder a couple swaps before and I bet he'll be there this time. As far as Seiryu stone, I highly doubt that anyone will carry that at the swaps. The most I've seen are the Texas holey rock, which is not appropriate for planted tanks. At have to purchase online if you're wanting that kind of rock.
