While I completely understand the reasons, don't think I would not love to have a free table with no admission. I've got 7 tanks to sell now, I'm even willing to deliver them to get them sold at pretty much give away prices. Factor in my Gas & time... not much profit. But, in a small way I'm helping to keep our hobby going.

We all know the extra 5 bucks is for the "security" detail of Dogfish and his Rott. The meet and greet in the parking lot is just cover for his secret mission of tapping our cell phones and installing GPS on our cars in the name of plantedtank security.

On a side note, I really have no excuse to miss this one. Hopefully I will have at least some Java Moss, Java Fern and Anacharis to trade. Possibly some RCS as well.

So... this thing is coming up in a month and I'm stoked. I missed the last one so it's been a while for me since I've been to one. Too bad I don't have a new tank to set up yet...

I think we need to decide where we want the parking lot swap and get that thread up and going here soon

My vote would be tail gate in the parking lot of the venue. The idea has been to make our Meet & Greet as painless as possible. At the Elk Grove site it was at Dunkin Donuts because they are directly across the street from the hotel.

I do agree it's time to get the Parking Lot swap thread going.

Shinny Card or I will start our parking lot swap thread. You cant start posting your stuff here as It's local sale only and that is acceptable on the site.

If you want a table I believe it's still $40. Start by going to there G.C.C.A website and register. All info is there.

Anyone know the email or phone number for Steve Botts? He says he takes pre orders but leaves no contact info.

So I went to look at the vendor list on GCCA's site and I don't see very many plant vendors, if any at all... or did I just skip over a few...

Saw a few people carrying a ton of shrimp though! CBS & CRS along with others from ShrimpUSA! Might have to start up another tank for some CRS now!

2 vendors actually have plants. Search for "plants" and 2 guys are bringing them.

The shrimpUSA guy is probably one of the first tables I'm hitting up. I want to get my hands on some PFRs so I can put them with my RCS to bring more red into them.

The event in April had a fella with a ton of plants. For $25 I came home with a back pack full of plants all healthy and great looking too. When I talked to him he said he would be attending this swap also.

Does he take pre-orders? Any contact info? I don't do Facebook. Thanks

On the GCCA website he says that he does, but he never left any contact information... Facebook might be only way to get in touch with him if you want something. The website, shrimpusa.com, doesn't seem to work either and I can't find anything similar through google.

I might have to get a hold of him that way to put some PFRs aside for me. Would you like me to reserve something for you or at least have him shoot you an e-mail?
