Discus rehome? Sad but true.

I realized i wasn't ready to own these poor guys after I recieved them. Wonderful fish. As most of you know "ebi" he's getting married and I'm guna attend his wedding up in California and I'll be out of town for 2 weeks.

I'm changing up my post. I'm sure someone out there will be a much better owner than I am to these wonderful 2. They need someone experienced and that's definitely not me. Maybe someday I will try again. But for now I'm going to stick to fish that I grew up with (generally easier cichlids, scats etc

They cost a good amount of money but it's my loss for a better owner and happier fish.

$30 price is for both of them thy are royal blue discus

Very generous of you, wish I was closer. Maybe try posting it in the RAOK section? Even though it's Hawaii only that section seems to get more action than the individual states.

A good decision on your part, Charrr, if you feel you can't look after them properly at this time. I hope you'll find someone near you who will take them.

I'm hoping so too. I'm overly attached to them. But I know it's not fair if I keep them and they suffer. I do everything I can for them too. I been thru a lot of trial and error these past 2 years.

So, I have a lot of inquiries. I'm pending a current discus keeper. My issue is... I really want them to go to a discus keeper with space in their tank. People are asking me how do I care for mine and what kind of heat do they require. I'm glad you guys have interest but I also want someone who will do the research. I didn't drop the price because I'm broke, I dropped it because I know there is someone out there who has the time and will to care for my discus properly. So please if you inquire take note that it's not fair to the discus if you're buying them as an impulse buy like I did.

Thank you.

I just don't want them I know you spent a good amount of money on these guys. Water parameters are similar to dwarf cichlids temps around the same. I offering for you to still keep them after your trips I can house them with my dwarfs. I only use Ro water. You know why

If you want to we can talk more tonight at the HAS meeting. It up to you.
