Red Cherries, here. Amanos too occasionally.
Shipping in a insulated box with a heat pack works very well this time of year. Normally an order for a Saturday shipment would usually get to you before the 25th or 30th. You might want to wait until January though. I have a nice surplus right now, but they aren't as red as some I've seen pictures of here.

I want to buy cherry shrimps from a local pet store, since I can't use a credit card or check/money order.

If you go to the bank or the costumer service counter at your local supermarket kinda thing, they can give you a money order and you pay with cash. I think the post office can also do that.

I've never seen RCS at the LFS. All Pets Club occasionally carries Amanos, but The Puppy Place in Hartford usually has Amanos.

p.s. I have some RCS, but not FS at the moment.

check out Uncle Ned's Fish Factory in Millis, MA. May not be too far from you, depending where in CT you are. Great supply of rare stock, including some shrimp.

what about milalic (he's a member here)? here's a link: http://invertzfactory.com/stocklist.htm
I've ordered from him before and had not a single DOA; pricing was more than fair, shipping was prompt and the quality stupendous.
