Good so far. Lots of road closures up here in the Fort Collins area. Just heard the Loveland School District is closing early for the day because of the widespread flooding. Hope everyone stays safe and dry!

We have a little river going in the entrance to my subdivision (there wasn't one before, and it made a pond, and water is pouring over the road.

Then the real pond behind our house is turning into a lake. The open space is about 1/2 covered now

We will see how it goes. It made me remeber I don't have a back up airpump thing, though I have an inverter so I could run the car with an extension cord, if I had to.

We also had a momentary loss of power which is what got me thinking of it, and my pump on my little Fluval Edge 6.6G lost suction and didn't restart. I noticed it about an hour later, so no problem. Thinking I may either need to clean it, and/or order a new one just in case.

Frederick/Firestone area - St. Vrain Valley Schools were closed today out here!

How's your area doing?

My office was flooded, we got all the home plans and computers out, there was at least 1" of water. There was a recent warning of a water surge coming down boulder canyon in boulder creek. I hope it dissipates before it reaches the office ::'(

I'm glad to hear all is well, Saint vrain schools were closed today and the county workers (my wife) didn't work either.

I hope everyone's pet's are ok too.

Called and found someone who wasn't flooding to work for me.

A friend I know had to be rescued by Fireman and car was totaled and was on the news - road washed out 3 minutes after she got rescued - took 2-3 feet of ground and the road with the wash out!!!!!! She is lucky for being imprudent.

So it looked like the road had just a little water on it, but underneathe the asphalt had already started to wash away but it was flat/smooth on top, so looked harmless.

The bridge next to road 5.5 on Hwy 119 is closed and in critical situation now!

DD's work closed just now so she doesn't have to try to go to work.

Big Drama out here!

Looks like I will be working from home for the next few days. The damage seems to be minimal. The worst seems to be the carpet. Time will tell though, I have to run and grab a set of engineering plans that I forgot to grab, which needs to be done by next week for permit submittals lol. So... we will see how well this works. Our server is now at a co-workers house (Westminster), my office computer is with me (Northglenn). My boss is at home in boulder so this could get tricky.

They quasi closed the med school early. I say quasi because some of us were in a four hour class and given the option to leave or stay. My group chose to stay. That worked out pretty good, the grounds looked a lot drier when we left than when we made the decision. Some of the dental student got pool floats and hung out on them in one of the little fields.

Proves you got to be crazy to work on teeth.

Noahma, You got the boat ready?

Our water has soaked in quite a bit but all the roads have closures so getting almost anywhere is awfully hard. DD has a 4 mile drive from work and took her an hour to get home because so many roads were closed.

Stay safe out there people. I just saw some video footage of Estes Park and it makes me sad to see these places that I just took pictures of my kids in front of in July completely under water. Prayers and well wishes to those of you in the region of the floods.
