CO2 refills?

Does anyone know of a shop in the Greeley/Ft Collins/Longmont area that will fill your CO2 tank rather than just swap it out?

I had a very hard time finding a place that would refill a tank for me. I ended up calling a place that did work a fire safety features and fire extinguishers. They said they could tag my tank and they would ship it to the filling station. I will have to wait a week or so to get it back and full so I will just end up buying two tanks to rotate. I don't know if there is anywhere like that around you that would do that.

Buckeye Welding Supply will refill or exchange CO2. It's located on the far east side of Greeley.

Jax Outdoor Gear in Fort Collins will fill a 5lb tank for about $8.50, and they'll do it while you wait. Takes 5 minutes or less. Just head back to the Military Surplus area where all the paintball stuff is.

Fake it 'till you make it.

I wish the one in Lafayette would.

I use the 20 oz tanks and get them filled at Sports Authority for $2.99 and every 10th one is free. Whether or not they'll do larger tanks i don't know.

I've been doing the same at Dick's, but it's $3.99 for a 20/24oz bottle and every 5th fill is free. I'm currently looking at switching to an Aquatek regulator and a standard large bottle.

Best place to get a Fill here in Fort Collins is Jax Mercantile. They are off of north College Ave.

I take my 5 and 10lb cylinders in any day of the week and they fill it while you wait. Takes just a few minutes. They do it in their paint ball shop.

The best part is the cost.

$8.60 out the door. Thats right you heard me Eight dollars and sixty cents.. for a 5lb tank. I think 10's were the same maybe a buck or two more.
