Saw a kissing gourami chasing a much larger silver arowanna at Aqua Imports today. He was relentlessly fearless! AI is the only place in the Denver area that i have been able to find ember tetras and i'm always happy leaving there!

I hate bombing the forums...but I figure quite a few of us are subscribed to this thread. I posted up a new thread about a garage sale and fundraiser that our local reef club is having here:

Local Garage Sale / Swap / Fundraiser on 8-25

Should be plenty of equipment that can be used for both fresh or saltwater, as well as some items to entice people to cross over to reefing lol

pm me with questions. Mods, feel free to delete this post and accept my apologies if this doesn't belong here.

Stopped by Neptunes this morning. They are stocking more nano fish these days. Embers, chili rasboras etc, though they are presently out of embers.

Happen to notice any blue-eyed forktails or apistos?

Aqua imports usually has the Blue eyes in stock, and they also carry many species of apisto (with some being pretty rare)

Thanks. Think I'll swing by this morning before I make the drive all the way up to Aqua Imports!

Was planning on making the trek today, but thought I'd check the locals first! Thanks!

Hit Aqua Imports this morning and wow, great selection of nano fish! Emberes, chilis and even my favorite C habrosus in stock. Unfortunately, only one lonely apisto (male pearl) and one male blue-eyed forktail. Great selection though!

Neptune had a couple of apisto pairs, but none that I was interested in. They only had 2 male blue-eyes as well. They did have a nice large selection of blue rams though, and the girl there was really helpful.

Have to say I'll probably go back to both shops!

Thanks for hints all!

Another one of the great things about them is their ability to do custom orders. If there is a plant you want, ask, if there is a fish you want ask. They will add it to the wish list and see about ordering it for the next shipment.
