Went to About Fish, since I was in the neighborhood to see what he had. Cory Cat's are my favorites so I noticed he had a lot of Julii's, Panda's, Stebras (first time I had seen those, they are now on my must have list for my next tank), albinos and a bunch of other common ones. Otherwise he had a bunch of non common plecos, roseline sharks, and some dwarf gouramis that I didn't recognize.

Tanks:
26 Gallon Aqueon Bowfront

Mr.Aqua 7.5 Gallon Cube
2.5 Gallon Aqueon Bowfront

Stopped at Pet World (10th and Wads) on the way home. Picked up a couple Big Line Zebra Nerite snails, they probably had 5 to 10 more. Both I snagged are already hard at work cleaning up my betta's tank. Also snagged a fish I have wanted to try for a long time, a Blue German Ram. They probably had 20 about an inch or inch and a half long. Mine is home and eating already. As far as plants, they had some nice looking Mondo Grass. Other things I grabbed was some petrified wood rocks and zebra rock. I haven't seen the zebra rock else where, but it looks incredible in the tank.

Watch out for that mondo grass... That is a bog / terrarium plant! Not a fully aquatic plant species.

Thanks, didn't buy any, but it was the only plant I didn't recognize the name of. So didn't know if it might be something people were looking for.

I stopped at Fish Den yesterday for a couple things...

They had some really good looking Panda cories in addition to the pygmies that they usually have. Also had a tank full of Orange Bee shrimp that weren't there last time I stopped in...they had a few in there that didn't acclimate well at all from the looks of it, but overall they looked pretty healthy and active.

Also looks like they just got in some Myriophyllum heterophyllum (Red Foxtail). Bright red stems, green-pink leaves...it looked great. I almost brought some home, but it'd mean rescaping the nano and I promised myself to leave it be.

Looks like I am going to make a stop at fish den on friday lol.

I went into About Fish today and found a few things of interest.
Plants not so great selection yet.

German blue rams - 4.99
Bolivian Rams - 4.99
Double Red Apisto - 7.99
Badis Badis - 7.99 (Awesome little fish, larger than the scarlet Badis, and very nice)

Roseline Barbs - 7.99

Several species of Rainbows that I had not noticed before

Went to Aqua imports today. Plants not so great, but it is the day before they get plant shipments so its understandable.

I have been looking at apisto's lately to add one or a pair to my 36 gal so I saw quite a few there.

Apistogramma bitaeniata 59.99 a pair (these were stunning!)
http://www.seriouslyfish.com/profile...aeniata&id=686

Apistogramma iniridae 29.99 a pair (very curious fish lol)
http://dwarfcichlid.com/Apistogramma_iniridae.php

They also had a pair of double reds for 29.99 a pair too.

They had a new fish I had not seen yet.
It was labeled as a PJ Badis 18.49 /ea (very similar to the scarlet badis, but much larger) it looked kind of like http://www.seriouslyfish.com/profile...mensis&id=1310

lol, it could work in your rip too. It has a nice emersed growth.

I feel the same way, I have to use the "what can I get rid of, to add this to the tank" to figure things out. they should be getting a plant shipment today too. I am going to head down there on sunday.

I just got back from Fish Den and they are currently running a 40% off deal on all Seachem products, with the exception of substrates I believe.

They also had some surprisingly nice colored orange bee and red cherry shrimp for a LFS. The orange bee shrimp didn't seem to be doing so hot though, half looked dead.

bah, and I just bought purigen there a week ago. lol.

They were also having 40% off all food when I was there over the weekend, dunno if that's still going on though. I did notice those orange bee shrimp on my past few trips there...same story with them each time I went. I suppose in a another week or so you probably have a good chance of grabbing some hardy survivors
