I'll be there around 6:30 so I can get some dinner beforehand.

155 gallon (low tech) planted (not at the moment, after removing the Eco-Complete) Discus aquarium with 3D AquaTerra background, started in July 2010. EcoComplete substrate is now gone, replaced with sand, Rena XP3 and XP4 for filtration, Catalina 35" T5HO retrofit - 2x39 watt (two units) mounted in overhead canopy. Link to my journal for the 155.

At least the pizza is 1000% better than evil Round Table.
Cat vomit on stomped dough.

I'm not sure if the projector will work, but I'll try.

If not then the screen shall do.

Tom Barr

I enjoyed my first meeting. Its nice to sit back and relax and listen. I did meet a few cool dudes with the same addiction as me =). Dont feel bad if next time I dont remember your names, it will take me a while to remember lol.

Hopefully those who picked up my blyxa japonica enjoys them.

But since my girlfriend was there, she is now inspired on setting up an aquarium.

Good meeting! A couple more new faces too. I enjoyed Tom's power point presentation. Sorry I had to leave before his aquascaping demo and the plant exchange, 5am comes around awful fast. Yaaaawn!

Next topic proposal:

Water testing and the various aspects. How to do it correctly. Test kits, pH, etc. Perhaps those that attend can all bring water samples (like a quart or more) from your own aquarium and your test kits and we do some real world comparisons. I'll bring my digital pH meter too. This could be real interesting!

Thoughts?
