co2 Package at Tongs Fountain Valley

Hi guys,

I visited Tongs in Fountain Valley/Westminster. Fresh water fish are abundant, but overcrowded conditions similar to petcos. I don't know much about plants (yet), but they have a variety of plants that aren't in petco. Saltwater looks good. Stuff is overpriced, mail order is cheaper. But has stuff that again petco does not have.

But on to the main point Co2 Package:

I saw on the self a co2 package consisting of 5lb Cylinder, Eheim Diffuser, Milwaukee Regulator, and silicon tubing for $130, after tax probably around $150. Decent price, perhaps overpriced by 20 bucks. But if you rather not wait for mail ordering stuff, you can get this here. I was but the exact same day, I ordered a Milwaukee, and a diffuser.

Are you sure it was not $230? Last time I was there a 5lb co2 tank cost $120.

I'm pretty sure. They had all the products wrapped together in a clear foil tied neatly in a bundle. They had price tags on all the items except the cylinder. and on the outside of the plastic foil there was a orange sticker of $130.
I should have asked them when I was there.

That's a fantastic deal if it is actually that price. I just paid $77.92 on ebay for a new milwakee regulator. I've been calling around and the best local price i can find on a 5lb tank filled is around $80. I'm starting to doubt that price though. It's just really too good to be true. Most milwakee regulators at any LFS i've gone to was around 130 for just the regulator. Factor in the tank, tubing and even a ehiem diffuser. I'd recommend anyone calling Tongs first to verify the price before heading out there. But if it is the price..that's a deal no one can beat

Alrighty, I went to Tongs on Labor day (it was open), and CONFIRMED that the co2 package is indeed $130. I'm just itching to buy it.

Really good price, although a 10lb cylinder would be even better.
