Pufferpeep,
I can give you some if I trim the tank this weekend. You're in Encinitas, right?

I think AW is $4-$5. And I personally won't buy plants from Pet Kingdom as they don't care much about them.

I'm literally 10 minutes away from AW, out 52. You and I are only about 20 minutes apart...

kool.

i forced my mom to drive me up to aquatic wherehouse today to find some java moss. I called this morning and asked if they had some java moss, and the lady replied that i should come on up and have someone dig through the plants for me. lol! sounds like Aquatic wherehouse cares ALOT about their plants.

Have you been to pet kingdom? Their plants used to be prominently at the end of their freshwater tanks. Now they are below one section of freshwater tanks. It's actually quite easy to overlook the fact that they are even there.

At least at AW they are right next to their primary SW display tank and impossible to miss. It's not organized, but it's kept clean and they have at least one or two guys who know something about plants.

So...did you get your moss? Must have been vital if you couldn't wait for freebies from me.

Pet Kingdom just got a new shipment of plants, but doesn’t have any java moss. Aquatic Warehouse is charging 5.99/6.99 for a clump of Java Moss. And if your mom is there ask for Sam. I found he has been the most helpful out of the bunch.

Later.

EDIT:

The Java Moss at Aw is all tangled and green and the size of a tennis ball.

PP, I cleaned the 10g and 50g today. I've got moss, h. difformis, and baby tears. If you ask nice, I can trim out some rotala rotundifolia and java fern.

Want any of it?

Except for the ferns and rotala, everything is trimmed. I could either drop them in the mail to you or take a ride tomorrow (Like I said, you're only 15-20 minutes away and my motorcycle needs to stretch).

No problem.

Alphaex,
your PM's are full. The answer to your question is free if we meet, otherwise just shipping.
