Is anyone who bought 50 lb. bags of each willing to share a couple of pounds with me? I'll buy off of you.

KNO3: $17.95 * 1.085 / 50 = $0.39 / lb.
K2SO4: $12.45 * 1.085 / 50 = $0.27 / lb.

But I'm willing to pay $2 for 2 lb. of each. How does that sound?

Some KH2PO4 would be nice, if anybody has extra. You name the price. Or I can give you some Echinodorus tenellus once I grow some more. It's the small, reddish variety.

I hope somebody reads this before the SFBAAPS meeting tomorrow! I'll be there (if my dad doesn't forget to drive me).

Okay, give me about a month to grow the tenellus. I got them from Albany about a year ago, and I lost most of it to algae and medications. If I can't make it to next month's meeting, maybe I can have somebody bring it for me. Thanks Sha!

Yes, even without macro-nutrient dosing and CO2 injection, it still managed to stay reddish. I think it just depends on your lighting.

Heck, do we need a speaker at SFBAAPS???

I think we mostly know all we need to produce the weed.
That's the good thing about getting involved.

You learn 10X faster in person.

If you have a question, ask folks, we pretty much have consensus about most things that matter to any new person.

There has been a great deal of advances due in large part to this single club.
I';ve taken the message further, but SFBAAPS gets the lion's share of the credit for PO4, not needing RO tap water, building soft water, list of parameters, numerous CO2 issues, many new plant species, some on Red plants coloration issues, K+ testing not too long ago, not me............them and other folks.

I freely give folks credit in the group.
I suppose I can give a mini talk if folks are desperate or something.

It'll need to be a specific issue folks will want to discuss, not a general plant presentation.

Something like N cycling, DIC (CO2/HCO3) issues or PO4 cycling etc, or scaping etc.

Regards,
Tom Barr

Ok guys...Keep rubbing it in. I will sit here wishing there was more than one other planted aquarium in the Valley. I should fly out for one of these things. I wonder how the plants would fair the trip back. The trip would be expensive. It would cost me a new tank for the plants I'd beg and barter. Is there anything I could bring you from Utah? I could go out to the lake and catch some real live GSL brine shrimp, maybe the same rock used to build the mormon Temple. I wonder if I could con a client into "needing" me at a meeting in SF...Give me a bit better notice, and I'll see what I can pull.

Seriously, Have fun guys!
