Hi, I'm new here and I'm finding this site quite interesting.
Would I be able to keep a male betta in my planted 29 with these others? I want to give at least one a nicer life out of a cup;
Harlequin Razboras
Rummy-Noses
Zebra Danios
Cardinals
Cories
Ottos
A few common snails
My tank params (which I'm re-testing tonight):
pH ~7.4 temp. 25*C Amm, nitrite 0 Slightly hard
Aqua-Clear 300 (water is at output level so current is lessened)
Plants: Cabomba, Swords (1 large/2 dwarf), other small-leafed plant
Do bettas eat snails?

I was considering testing him in the 29, but if it doesn't work I can get another 2 gallon. My other one was acrylic and the base was cracked.
I have heard of bettas only going after fancy finnage on tankmates, but none of my fish seem big enough to bother it. There isn't really anything in my tank that I think a betta could mistake for another betta. Some fish are brightly coloured, but they're fast swimmers and most bettas I've seen are quite shy.
