Thanks to the organizers, speakers, donors and volunteers. The raffle and silent auction items were abundant.
I hope you can attend next year.
Below is a Reference ONLY -
The 15th annual Southwest Area Killifish Event (SAKE) looks like it could be bigger and and better, in several ways, than even last year's SAKE.
- Attendance: Over 70 people have registered and there are still 3 weeks to go. Approximately 100 attended last year and we may exceed that number this year.
- Fish in the auction: So far, we have been told to expect to see almost 70 species and/or locations of killies, including some very sought after ones. And, we have not heard from many of the people who will be bringing or sending fish. And those are just the killies! Additionally, you will probably see lots of livebearers, plecos, dwarf cichlids, bettas, catfishes, and more.
- Raffle: As of February 19, we have received contributions from 21 sponsoring companies and expect that we will receive more donations as SAKE approaches.
- Programs: We have three presentations on a range of topics that should appeal to all aquarium hobbyists.
In short, SAKE looks to be a terrific event again this year. Be sure to check http://forum.azrivulinkeepers.org/index.php?topic=42.0
for more information and updates. If you have any questions, feel free to send me an e-mail.
See you at SAKE!
