What ever happen to this breed of fish because I don't see them anymore. When I was young in the mid to late 80's I would see these at the LFS all the time. They were just glass tetras but somehow, I assume from breeding, they got them to have some neon pink, green, and blues on them. It looked totally fake if you ask me. Never was a fan because these fish did not look natural at all. I'm pretty sure they made a buzz at the time with the neat color but soon people probably didn't want them anymore and it was just a fad.

Well the reason I'm asking this is because of all the zebra danios I see now that are in hot pink, and yellow. Nice to see but not natural looking and I think soon the breed is going away too.

So anyone else remembers these stained glass tetras???
