Yeah, I'd like to get a 6700k bulb, but it's hard to find the spiral compact flourescents that are rated that high. I'm considering buying a 2x18w PC hood from Catalina, but I think I'm going to give it a month or so and see how the plants grow with this bulb, mostly because people told me it wouldn't work well.

The only thing that's really shown significant signs of growth so far is the najas grass. The cabomba is growing in height, but not really filling out, which is probably a sign that it's not getting enough light and it's stretching to get to more. The rotala and bacopa were clippings with no roots and I just added them 2 days ago, so I'm expecting it to take a little time for them to root and start growing.
