Is this a nutrient deficiency, or is something nipping at my staurogyne? As you can see, the outer leaf section has either deteriorated or has been chewed off, leaving only the main vein. Any ideas? There's an SAE, 6 amano shrimp, 3 otos, 2 horned nerites and a [censored][censored][censored][censored] ton of snails.
that definitely looks like something was eating it...there are no signs of deficiency (discoloration, spots, or melt). Do you have large pond snails? Also I have caught some of my nerites eating my plants...probably due to lack of algae. I would just keep an eye out for snails munching on the leaves.
Try adding some plant based food. See if you can satisfy who ever it is with some squash or kale or almost any vegetables we eat. This may also act as a bait to attract the unwanted snails. Scoop 'em out and get rid of them.
