Does Hygrophila pinnatifida take up phosphorus in high amounts? I ask because ever since I added it to my tank, GSA keeps appearing both on the glass and on the leaves. Further, the tops and edges of the leaves continually develop staghorn and increasing micros hasn't prevented it. Also, the other plants haven't grown as fast after I added H. pinna.
Are you getting it to develop any roots? I'm on my second attempt with it. It grows new leaves but no roots. Then the stem rots away. This time they where larger to start but surely grown emersed. Have CO2 and fertz, everything else is growing fine.
Yes, it roots, though it hasn't rooted as fast as when I first put in it. I'm still trying to figure out what this plant needs. I've only had it three months and still can't figure out what the nutrient requirements are.
